At Caruso USA, we believe that good food should never go to waste — and that businesses have an important role to play in supporting the communities they serve.
We’re proud to celebrate three years of partnership with Last Mile Food Rescue, an organization dedicated to rescuing surplus food and delivering it to people and nonprofits who need it most.
Over the past three years, this partnership has made a meaningful impact:
274 food rescues completed
874,412 pounds of food saved from going to waste
79 nonprofit organizations served
Through these efforts, food that might otherwise be discarded has instead helped support families, shelters, and community organizations throughout our region.
Last Mile Food Rescue’s innovative approach uses technology and a network of volunteer drivers to quickly move surplus food from businesses to nonprofits, helping address two critical challenges at once: food insecurity and food waste.
